Experiments with cohesive seidments at Bangor University
May 8th, 2017
On my way to Manchester Airport from Bangor, Wales, UK. This weekend, I joined a workshop on cohesive sediments in flumes, which was great and very relevant for my research! We got to see different types of sediment gravity flows and bedforms under a variation of flow conditions and with and without EPS (Extracellular Polymeric Substances), which is used to generate biological cohesion. I learned a lot and met many great and interesting people.
