NAC Photo competition
March 21th, 2025
A photo of one of my Martian delta experiments was selected for the NAC photo competition, making it into the top five entries. During the NAC conference, participants voted for their favorite photograph by placing a pebble in a container next to each photo. Although I didn’t win the competition, I was thrilled to be among the finalists, and I was very happy to bring the beautiful print back to my office.
Despite the relocation of NAC to Noordwijk, I thoroughly enjoyed the conference. I received great feedback on my talk, the poster sessions were engaging, and the plenary sessions were excellent. The evening activities in the basement bar were a lot of fun, and the larger venue offered plenty of space. The only downside was that the food didn’t quite match the quality of Van der Valk Utrecht. Still, I’m already looking forward to next year’s edition!
