My first paper as first author is now online available as a discussion paper in Earth Surface Dynamics. This means that the first part of my PhD research is now under review. Special about this journal is that it is already citable and the whole review process is very open. Additionally, not only reviewers (or referees) can comment on my article, but also other people of the scientific community. The interactive public discussion will be open until the 20th of May. Finally submitting my paper felt as a big step forward. Not only will this become my first paper, it will also be the first part of my thesis. This is the first towards completing my PhD.
