A short (5min) movie of the PhD-day from our department. During this day, we went on an excursion to the Noordwest Natuurkern where we learned about dune blowouts. In the afternoon we went blokarting and lasergaming in the dunes after which we went for diner at Aloha.
Although it was a surprisingly cold day we had a lot of fun. The wind was very strong so the sand transport and blokarting was pretty spectacular. An accident occurred during the afternoon activities, one of our colleagues dislocated his shoulder. This was off course terrible for him, but everything turned out ok as he could already join us again for diner.
